Kick Starting 2017

Need some new years inspiration to help you push through boresome January? Keep on reading and you will be finding yourself wanting to go do something productive!

1.Do morning exercise.
Now yes, I do admit flying out of bed at 6 am (or 5 am if you are an early bird like me) and throwing on your running shoes and clothes to go for a run (in the dark I might add) may be a bit daunting and very hard. But doing a five or ten-minute yoga session won't hurt and will help you wake up in the morning and of course make you feel refreshed. My favourite one has to be the one Ellie Goulding produced for Nike Training Club, which you can find for free off of the app store.

2.Find a Third space
A third place is a place that is not your home or the workplace/school. It can be anywhere! A park, a library or even a shopping centre.  My favourite place is a tea shop I recently discovered in my local town, which sell beautiful cupcakes and the most stunning teas. This place can be a secret or you can take your friends and family to them.

3.Set realistic goals for yourself.
Making goals that are very unlikely to happen can really hurt you when you don't accomplish them. If your heart is set on the goal though work on it progressively.

4.Pack your supplies the night before.
Fancy that extra 10 minutes in bed? Then pack your stuff the night before trust me you will be glad of this one.

5.Find a new Hobby.
It can be anything! An example could be photography. Buy a book or read an article about your chosen hobby there is loads of content out there! Urban Outfitters do really interesting books so stop off there when you have the chance.

6.Try new food.
This is coming from the pickiest eater ever! But trying new food like acai bowls, for example, could really change your perspective on that food and you may even like it more.

7.Say yes!
You have probably heard this before, but saying yes could open a huge load of doors for your personal life, school life or career. Of course, if you really don't agree with what you are being asked, it is ok to say no but look on the positive side of the situation

Are you going to try any of these? This blog post was a collaboration with my lovely friend Clare! Please go check out her stunning blog
